Skip hire prices are based upon some simple contributing factors including skip size, duration of skip hire, the area in which you are located, and where you plan to position the skip. The last two factors, your location and the placement of the skip are both very important if you wish to obtain the cheapest skip hire price.
In order to keep your skip hire costs low we recommend that you place the skip on your drive/property as most skip bins placed on Council land (including skips positioned in the street) will more often than not require a skip hire permit.
If it is not possible for you to place the skip on your own land then a permit from your local council will be required. The charge for skip permits varies dependant on borough – in most cases we can arrange a permit on your behalf and, where this is possible, we will include the cost of the permit in your skip hire price.
Some local councils will require the customer to arrange the skip hire permit - we will let you know if this is the case and will provide you with any help and information you might need to arrange the skip hire permit.
